Salvation Steps
 These salvation steps are necessary if you want to get saved. The word "saved" means that you are saved from the wrath of almighty God. Before you decide to cry out to God to save you, please read about what your about to get yourself into. Do You Understand "Sin"?
Sin is the act of breaking God's law. When you sin, you offend a holy God. This sin must be punished, and a sinner cannot enter the kingdom of God. To become saved, you must acknowledge that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So the bible wants you to know that you are a sinner whether you want to admit it or not. So one might ask, "If all have sinned, and sinners don't enter the kingdom of heaven, how does anyone enter the kingdom?"

One Way To Salvation
 The bible wants you to know that your default destination is hell. This is because you've sinned against God, but there is one way to salvation. God wants to spend an eternity with you, so he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to die on the cross. While Jesus was hanging on the cross dying, he bore your sin, paying the penalty of the sins of mankind in full. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes to the father except by me" 3 days later, as he predicted, he rose from the dead, proving he really was the son of God. So if anybody ever wants to go to heaven, they will never get there apart from resting on the finished work of Christ.

Cry Out To God
If you really want to be saved through Jesus Christ, you need to pray and ask Jesus Christ into your heart. Tell Jesus, in your own words, that you know that your a sinner, and that you want accept him as your personal savior. I would highly recommend opening up a bible and finding a church. Without these two things, it is impossible to grow in your faith and understanding of God.

What Now?
You may need to keep praying and asking for god's mercy and grace. You may need to pray persistently before he will save you; it's not a flu shot. Open up your bible to "1 John" (in the very back). After reading it, if you don't see any evidence that God has saved you, you can either keep crying out to him until he saves you, or you can give up and go to hell. Once you are saved, God will let you know. When God finally saved me over a year after I asked him, I felt it! I was completely overcome with emotion, and kept repeating to myself "He loves me anyway!" Your goal now is to conform yourself to the image of Christ.
