Meeting God In Prayer

We seek God in prayer mostly when we are in need of something. That "something" could be anything from health or finances to forgiveness or praise. I can remember one specific event I will never forget when God really did relieve me of my pain because I seeked after his guidance. It was then that I realized there is a God, and I had ignored him my whole life. Now I find it very difficult to get through one day without talking to him.

Will God Answer Me?
Understanding God's Timing.

When asking God for something we feel we need in our lives, we have to keep in mind how God works. Our eyes can only see so far. We will tell God that we need "this" or "that" to fix "Problem A". God sees "Problem A" and might give you a completely different solution.

God knows what you need more than you do. Because of this, he might even say "no". Be patient. Entering into a trust relationship with Jesus Christ means that (through him) you surrender yourself to God, trusting him to lead you where he wants you to be.

A relationship with Jesus has no age limit!

He may lead you down some dark roads that seem hopeless, but he will never mislead you. Just remember that he is infinitely intelligent, and when you ask him to "take the wheel", he will do exactly that.

I Need Help Now!
Will These Prayers Work?

The prayers listed are not found in the bible. They are written by me to help you find the words when talking to God. Keep in mind that it is not a "magical formula". God will help you according to your situation (and probably in many ways you may not even notice!).

Many of the topics I write about, I have not actually experienced. If you have any insight, suggestions, or questions, I would love to hear what you have to say!
