When all hope seems to be lost...

A miracle prayer is a prayer asking for the supernatural power of God to intervene in your life. I don't know what your struggling with right now. Maybe it's your finances. Maybe your marriage, or maybe even trying to drop a bad habit. Any bible believing christian understands and sometimes fears the power of God, and knows what he's capable of. Right now we're living in the beginning of the 21st century and many people think that God is "hands-off" or just doesn't care anymore. Would a miracle prayer change your life? Do they still happen? Oh, if you only knew the AMAZING POWER of God I experienced a few years ago! I can 100% assure you that they still happen to the faithful, but only the faithful.

What Can God Do For My Life?

Asking "what can God do for me" is usually a question a new christian would ask. Will God provide for you and possibly change your life with a miracle? YES! What will it require? FAITH! The word "grace" is such a small word, but I'm still trying the wrap my head around the thought. God doesn't owe us anything because we've rebelled against him with sin. He does pull us out of our biggest struggles with miracles, but not because we deserve it; because he loves us. Try to understand that when praying miracle prayers, you are asking for something that you are not worthy of receiving from him.

How much faith will I need? Jesus Christ performed a countless number of miracles to VERY WIDE groups of people. Why? Jesus did not perform miracles for applause. He performed them so the faithful would believe in him. It was on a basis of faith, not proof. He had no tolerance for people that needed to see proof before glorifying him. So glorify him now and put his kingdom before yourself, and all your need will be met (Matthew 6:33).

Should I Expect a Miracle Soon??

Understanding God's timing is hard for some christians, especially new ones. Whether his blessings come soon or years down the road, they are always perfectly timed (and I can talk from experience).

My miracle - There was a time before I acknowledged God when I found myself deeply struggling with something. I could not find a way out and all of my hope for the situation getting better disappeared. I almost completely gave up! Seeing God as my last hope, I decided to pray. I waited a few weeks, praying several times every day for a miracle. After a month of persistently praying, my prayers were finally answered! About 15 minutes later, I took an order for a lady ordering pizza. When I asked her for a name, she told me her name was Miracle. I did a double take! That was his humorous way of removing my doubt. Looking back at it all, his timing was perfect!

What Should I Say?

There is no prayer for a miracle in the bible (that I can find). I can only recommend the following prayer to you.

God,
I understand that your blessings will only be added to me through faith. Right now, I find myself in need of a miracle. You are the only one that can deliver me from this mess I'm in right now. I am putting my trust in you, because I cannot do this alone. You are always thinking ahead, and you know what's best for me, not me. Please, through your grace, give me something I am not worthy of receiving from you; a miracle for my situation. I will be patient and trust your timing. Thank you for your grace. I love you!
In jesus' name, amen.
