Marriage Prayers
The following marriage prayers are not prayers found in the bible because I couldn't find a specific "marriage prayer". The following is a summary of why it's important to trust God with your marriage and understand that he can see the big picture that we cannot see. First of all, I am married and there have been many times I've prayed for my marriage to go smoothly without any problems. Now I understand that God put us both together to teach us unconditional love.

"Trust" and the "Big Picture"
 The Big Picture: You've heard before that God has a plan for your life. Obviously, if he has a plan, it will be according to his will. I don't know what the problems are that you have in your marriage, whether it's verbal arguments, mis-communication, or even physical showdowns. I'll even go as far enough to say that I don't even have a solution to any of these things. All I can tell you is that God holds the key to all of your marriage problems, and if you are truly saved, he is the one to reach out to. So what is the big picture? I don't know if the bible is something you run to whenever a problem comes up, or whether it's the very core of your relationship with God. But if you stand firm on the promises of God you can trust him. I can't remember where I read it, but there was a verse that says something like: "You would not believe the plans God has for you in your lifetime, not even if told". Looks like it's time to trust him...Trust You need trust. You need to trust and believe that no matter what the outcome, God made it happen and he made it happen for a reason! If you are saved, right now he is in the process of molding and shaping you to become more like Jesus Christ. So we know, that while dying on the cross, Jesus asked God to forgive those putting him to death. He showed them unconditional love, even up to his final breath. I believe marriage is supposed to teach us to love unconditionally, even when those you love don't meet the conditions!

What Should I Say?
Dear God, I'm coming before you in prayer because of my marital situation. There's problems in our marriage that you and I can both see. ( Tell God your marital problems). God, if I am truly yours, than please build up my faith in you. Please reveal more wisdom to me, whether it be through your book or some other source. I want to believe that you want the problems in my marriage to be fixed, but I need your help believing that. I need a promise to stand on. Please help me Lord.
In Jesus' name, Amen. If the marriage prayers you just prayed are what you really want, then pray everyday for it! Show God that this is what you really want! It's very important to make your needs known to God, because he tells us to do so.
