 The hope of God is something that goes through the mind of everyone. You can't look up at the stars at night without wondering who placed them there. There's just so much circumstantial evidence that points to a creator. I believe that it is hardwired into our minds that God exists. But what happens when you take the step from "knowing God exists" to "knowing God"? If I sat down with you for 10 minutes, I could prove to you that he exists without a shadow of a doubt. But for the sake of time, just trust me because I've already been down the road your on and found the truth.

I can remember back before I was a Christian how I viewed life. I very rarely thought about God until a big problem came up. I would usually pray if the problem was big enough, then when it was over, I would "lock God back in the closet" until I needed him again. I'll admit that I had no desire to invite God into my life. My plans were to keep him as far away from me as I could so I would never have to turn away from the things I loved doing and submit to his law. Then He performed something so miraculous in my life that I had to explore this whole" hope of God" thing a little deeper. A note on worship:I mentioned before that our minds are hardwired to believe in God. Did you know that our brains are also hardwired to worship? That's right. For non-Christians, it could be the worship of popularity, money, drugs, or anything that stands between you and your 100% worship of God.

The Search for Jesus
 Maybe you don't know what Jesus did on the cross. He died sinless to pay the penalty for our sins, so that on judgment day we will be sinless before God. You see, Christianity today is a religion that gets lost in the huge pile of other global religions, Islam being the leader. But Christianity is far unlike every single other religion. It is the only belief system that involves grace, meaning you can't earn your way into heaven. You can only accept the free gift of salvation offered through the death of Jesus Christ. Every other religion requires you to earn your way. The bible says that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Therefore because of our sin, nobody is going to heaven. But since Jesus Christ, the son of God, paid that penalty for us, if we search for Jesus and enter into a trust relationship with him, we will be saved from the wrath of God. So through him, and only him, we can have a relationship with God.

How Do You Get Saved?
You need to start thinking about whether you want to go to heaven or hell. If I could express in human language how bad hell was, you would probably go legally insane. The human language is not strong enough to communicate it. But you should seek God because you love him and want to spend an eternity with him, not so you can avoid hell. If you decide that you want to go to heaven, cry out to Jesus asking him to rescue you. You can do this in a prayer. You may have to keep crying out to him until he saves you, it may not be immediate. When he saves you, you'll know it.Your hope of God is now accompanied with biblical knowledge. If you disagree about some of the things the bible says, please investigate further. It all checks out. The bible is the only authority on the only god.
