 Anniversary prayers to God can be a very important opportunity to praise God for your partner! God gave you your partner to show you a form of love. Consider the love you have for your partner a watered down version of the love God has for you! I hope I can convince you why God gave you the partner you currently have, and how important it is not to forget to take every opportunity to praise God for your blessings.

Understanding "Together-ness"
 At the time of writing this, I'm 21 years old and have been married for 1 yr and 3 months. I'm just now looking towards the long term relationship I've invested in. If I told you the circumstances under which I met my wife, you would be convinced it was the hand of God shoving us together. I will admit, there are probably many other women God could have chosen for me that would have been more compatible, because we do have our disagreements. But I think God was looking at the bigger picture. God said in the bible "He who has begun a good work in you will finish it".An Example: The human race is not perfect. As a matter of fact, far from it! You may argue with your partner, and ask God why he didn't give you a partner that you would get along with. Now why would he do that? I believe he wants to teach you to love your partner unconditionally, even when they don't meet the conditions.

What Should I Say?
Dear God,Today is our anniversary, and we would like to take this time you have given us to say thank you. Thank you for putting us together and teaching us some of the fundamental teachings of unconditional love. We pray that we will have many more years together, and that your hand will continue to teach us more about each other that we may have overlooked. Please continue to prepare us to become who we will one day be. In Jesus' name, Amen. Please keep in mind that these prayers and teachings are not necessarily "straight out of the bible", as I struggled to find solid bible verses about anniversaries. I congratulate you both in your lifelong partnership, and hope that God will continue to make you both strong in your understanding of love!
